A Dream Come True

This week I got to be a part of another music video and it was so much fun!! My whole mission I have had the dream to go to Constanța, the city on the Black Sea, and sing the song "Oceans" in Romanian! Welp, this weekend I got to do it!! I got to sing with Sora Robinson and another sister in our mission names Sora Trunnell! I am excited to see how it all turns out! We even got up early on Saturday morning to film on the beach! It was freezing, especially cause when we were being filmed we were not wearing coats! But it was all worth it!! It was also cool to see the abundant amount of little miracles that happened throughout the weekend from there being no line when we passed Lucas (a pastry/pretzel place) on our way back from being filmed and freezing to death and not having to wait long for the busses and metros while traveling, to meeting new people and teaching them as we filmed!

Also, on our way to București this mom and her two little sons, ages 3 and 18 months, sat across the aisle from us on the train and her little 18 month old son wanted to come sit over by us for the last part of our trip. He sat so calmly in the empty seat next to us :) That made my whole day!!

This week for our Zone Council we wanted to focus on unity and communication so we read and discussed one of my favorite chapters in the New Testament; 1 Corinthians 12! This chapter talks about spiritual gifts and also how we all are made differently, with different strengths and weaknesses but as we unite in one purpose, as we work together with an eye single to our Savior we can become so much more than what we can do, be, and become on our own! Verses 26 and 27 say:

"And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it, or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular."

I love what this chapter teaches and it goes along really well with a BYU Devo I listened to called "Learning From Our Conflicts" in 2006 by Gerald R. Williams! It talks a lot about relationships with those around us and how we can have such a happier life with solid, strong, uplifting, and edifying relationships! A quote I really like from the Devo says:

"It's cruel that it should be this way but the thing that we are supposed to learn about ourselves is usually obvious to the person we are in conflict with!"

I love that! And it is a great wake up call to be more humble!

This week was a really good week! On our long train rides I was able to get some extra studies in and it felt so uplifting and productive to listen to one talk after another and get a solid scripture study in! Ahhh I love missionary work and all that I have learned while being out here on my mission! I have a lot of fun things to look forward to this week and the rest of the transfer! I am so full of gratitude for all the experiences, places, and people in my life!

Love you all! Hope you are doing well! Sending lots of love from here in Romania!
