Hungary!!!
This week I got to go to Hungary for in person MLC! It was such a neat experience to travel up to Hungary, see the mission home, and council with all the leaders in our mission! At MLC we all discussed things that are going really well in our mission, things that could improve, and then the action plan that we will take to make that happen! It was so cool that by the end of the council we came down to several solutions of how we can improve our mission! One of my favorites was to focus more on love! One thing many people said our mission was good at was love for each other, but as we talked more I realized that we can expound on that love! We can show our love to our Heavenly Father more by being more obedient, we can show our love to our leaders more by showing respect through our words and actions, we can show our love to our peers by being more aware of our surroundings and being courteous, and we can show love to ourselves more by being kind in our thoughts, and taking care of our bodies, minds and spirits! There are countless other ways we can become more loving, and more like Christ, but those are just a few of the thoughts I had at our meeting!
This week flew by with all our travel to Hungary and back! I am so grateful for the blessings we received to still be able to share the gospel with those around us as we traveled and went about our days! While in Hungary, we met a Romanian family, a couple from Norway, and a Hungarian judge to share a message with (I even handed out a Book of Mormon in Hungarian!) And on our train back to Romania, we were supposed to get a sleeper train but that car broke so they just didn't add another one. So we had to all squish on to a different car with several other people on it. We were on this car from 11pm until 4:30am! While on this car, as we were squished in with other passengers into 6 man rooms, we handed out around 4 Books of Mormon and each room on that car that had missionaries in it had some type of gospel discussion going on! Honestly, it was so cool to witness! 2am in the morning and someone is sharing the 1st restoration lesson three rooms down from where I was staying! Haha I LOVE MISSIONARY WORK!
I know that while we are here on our missions we get to literally be representatives of Jesus Christ!! It is such an amazing blessing and gift! I still have 8 months left of my mission and I am so excited to see the growth and other experiences that are still in store for me!
Love you all! Thanks for reading my emails and supporting me!! You are all the best😍
