Silver Linings
We were soooo busy this week! Haha I don't think I will have another slow week in my mission! On top of all the lessons we had planned this week we also had service for refugees, several member meals, and a music video to film!
LESSONS
I love how many friends we have right now and the amount of people we have to teach! There was one day however that we had 4 lessons planned and all cancelled for one reason or another. The cancelled lessons were a bummer but it still ended up being a really good day because we were able to catch up on a lot of referrals and friends we have not been able to contact as often. That day we had 4 lessons cancel we ended up getting two new friends to teach on a regular basis, so that was a blessing!!
SERVICE
I talked about this last week but we were able to do service again for the Ukrainian Refugees by fixing cots. Although, this week instead of just getting 30 cots done we got 50! It was a lot of fun! I love staying busy and honestly don't mind manual labor! haha
MEMBER MEALS
On Tuesday after service and district council we went to a member's house for lunch-ish dinner! haha it was a lot of fun! She is super sweet and kind, her name is Sora Radu! She had meat, cheese and veggies to start us off, following with ciorba (which is like thicker soup) and dessert! She was so sweet and after we ate she enjoyed just talking to us about her past, her hobbies, and her family! On Thursday we went to Sora Dumitras and she made us sarmale and raspberry cheesecake!! IT WAS LIFE CHANGING! Also, on Sunday we were able to go to Sora Gorzo's for lunch and she fed us amazing food as well! I am really going to miss her and her home cooked meals!
TRANSFER NEWS
So we got transfer news on Saturday and I found out that I will be leaving Bucaresti and going to Ploiest to be in a trio with the two other media sisters in the mission! That means I get to work in media not just with my mission, but I also get to council with other missions here in Europe, and have meetings with people in Salt Lake regarding media in our mission. I still don't know all that being a media sister will entail but I am excited to be able to work with so many people! When I left from Cluj to Bucaresti it felt like a different mission because of the dynamics of going from a small secluded city to a big busy city with tons of missionaries! And now I feel like it will feel like another mission going into media with all that that will entail!
MUSIC VIDEO
This week I got to record a music video for our mission facebook page. We sang I Know My Redeemer Lives in Romanian! It was so much fun and I got to do it with Sora Robinson! Also, with me going into media, that means that I will get to be companions with Sora Robinson again! And with Sora Jones. I will be in a trio! I am excited! They will be a lot of fun! Back to talking about the music video, when it is posted I will share it on my Facebook page so if you want to watch it you can find it there :)
Love you all! Thank you for your prayers, thanks for your support, and thanks for your friendship! Grateful for each and every one of you! Take care!
