Joy In The Work
Today has been really busy so I don't have a lot of time but it has been a good week! It has been a lot of fun being able to get to know all our friends and members here in Bucharest!
We have a friend named Sara that we are teaching, she is 16, and she loves the church and learning about the gospel so much!! We had lunch with her on Thursday and taught her a lesson after lunch and I could feel the spirit so strongly as we were talking about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She has such a special spirit about her and her love for Christ and desire to learn more is inspiring! We also went to a park on Thursday and helped hand out food and supplies to the homeless. While we were there we met several amazing people that could possibly be people we teach in the future! It has been a lot of fun getting to know so many different people in the last few days!
Because of the daily service so many Elders in our district do everyday with helping Ukrainian Refugees at the train station and the airport, for our District activity this week we went to Peleș, which is a city in the mountains with a castle! It was a lot of fun to spend the day all together, walk around the town, and eat yummy foods! Haha
Our games night on Saturday was also so much fun and a great success!! We talked to two people that came that are interested in learning more and we also played lots of fun games including volleyball, soccer, and UNO!
This Sunday was Easter Sunday here in Romania, we had a beautiful church service and then had treats and a social afterwards. There were a lot of people that came! It was lots of fun!
