Baia Mare

 Hey hey hey everyone!!

This week was full of lots of lessons, service, laughter, and lots of yummy food.

On Tuesday we had a really good turn out to our English class, we had 9 new people show up! And the Downs made cookie for everyone afterwards!

Wednesday we had 5 lessons scheduled and taught 4 of them so that filled up a lot of our day! I absolutely loved it! Being able to share the Gospel with so many different people is such a spirit and testimony booster! I also learn so much from each of them every person that we are teaching right now already has a strong testimony in Christ and their Heavenly Father!

Sad part of my week. . .my shin splints are back, and pretty bad too. There will be times I'll be walking, standing still, and sometimes even sitting when a super sharp pain will shoot up the inside of my right shin. And my right shin and calf are constantly sore. Of course the beginning of this week I was being stubborn and kept running each morning, which caused me a lot of pain on Thursday and Friday. I started doing some different stretches to help and instead of running Friday I fast walked while Sora Saunders ran, which helped a lot even though I looked really funny doing it.

On Friday night we usually host a games night and the Downs offered to make food for all that came! They made a huge pot of chili and corn bread. But sadly, this week no one came because of still being on vacation from the holidays. So, we ended up just eating and playing games with each other. It was a lot of fun!

Saturday was full of service which I loved!! We got to go to the soup kitchen again!! We hadn't gone in 2 weeks so that was a lot of fun to see everyone again! And we also deep cleaned the church building which I actually really enjoyed! haha

Sunday was my favorite day this week! We finally got to go to Baia Mare to visit the two Tongan families that live there! We have been trying to visit them since the beginning of December! All 10 of us met the two families at the Fakoa'silias apartment and both the Fakoa'silias and the Vaiomungas made us food! It was nice and cozy with a total of 23 of us all there but it was so much fun! We danced, sang, laughed and ate lots and lots of food! I felt at home with all the kids there! I hope we can make the 2.5 hour drive more often to see them. They join church online each week so we really don't see them often which is so sad because their strong faith and sweet spirit is one that I love being around! I love both of those families with my whole heart!😍

Hope you are all doing well! Love you tons!
