My Weeks Get Crazier and Crazier

  Buna prieteni și familie!!

I love the mission! In the short two weeks that I have been here in Romania I have already seen so much growth in my self! I am so grateful for the opportunity to devote every single day of my life to learning more about my Heavenly Father's plan for me and for those I come in contact with! I know that he loves every single one of his children here on earth and that he is keenly aware of each and every one of you, all your joyful moments in life, all your trials, and all your heartaches! He knows your heart and he sees your potential! I know that no matter what your past may look like, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you so much and they have provided, literature, prophets (past and present), and individuals in your life to help you return to live with them again! I know with my whole heart that this is true!

I know this is true because I have felt the healing powers of Christ's Atonement in my own life and I have also witnessed how it has saved the lives of others around me! I can also feel of the love God has for His children as I interact with individuals here in Romani: fellow missionaries, members of the church here in Romania, friends we are teaching right now, and even random people I pass on the street!

One story that we shared with several of the people we are teaching this week is the story of the tree of life. Lehi arrives at this huge tree full of beautiful perfect fruit, as he takes a bite of this fruit he is filled with joy because of its greatness! Because of the joy this fruit gave him, he wanted to share it with everyone he knew and those he didn't know! This is how I feel about the Gospel of Christ, I have been filled with so much joy as I have studied the Bible and the Book of Mormon, as I have studied the words of prophets, both past and present, and as I have strived to live my life in a way that is in harmony with my Heavenly Father's will! And I am so grateful for the opportunity to share that with all those I come in contact with!

This week we took another sleeper train back to Bucharest on Monday night because we had a meeting on Tuesday with all the missionaries in Romania. It was fun to be able to meet more of the missionaries in my mission and also talk more with the Mission President and his wife! We had a great training and I learned a lot!

Tuesday night we took a normal train to Sibiu for exchanges. That train ride was 6 hours long but was fun. We played "Cover Your Assets" for almost 2 hours and I was the ultimate looser every single time. . .hahaha. Sibiu is a beautiful city and I had the best chicken pita pocket I have probably ever eaten while there! On Thursday morning we took a 2 hour bus ride back to Cluj. The next few days were full of lessons, meetings and more lessons as we tried to squish a whole week's worth of things to do into 3 days!

On Saturday we went to the soup kitchen again which has become a highlight of my week! So much fun! I love being able to serve and also interacting with the other workers there!

I love you all so much, words just don't do a good enough job of explaining my love for you! I think of you all as I write my weekly update each week and if I had more time I would totally write to you individually! You are always in my prayers! I hope that as you go about this week you are able to see Christ's hand in your life! I know that as you look for His presence in your life you will be able to find it!

Te lubesc!
