18 MONTHS!!

Today marks eighteen months on the mission, my last P-day and the last email I will write for my mission! Thank you all for all your love and support these past eighteen months! Words cannot describe the immense amount of gratitude I have for all those who have loved, supported, and prayed for me throughout my time here in Romania!

Three and a half years ago, when I left Romania after four months, I though that my heart was being torn in half, leaving the people and culture here. Now that I have been here for 18 months, learned the language, and spent so much more time here and met so many more people, I don't know how my heart will handle getting on the airplane Thursday morning!

The experiences I have had and people I have met here have truly changed my life and who I am! I have learned so much more about what true love is and feels like! I have experienced just a small glimpse of the love and care that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for the people here and just that small glimpse of love has left me overflowing with care and compassion. . .I don't know how to handle it! I could not have asked for a better last week on the mission! We found two new people to teach this week and they are such sweet souls! We had a fun last English class, got to visit a couple members and we were also able to go visit the orphanage apartment I used to work at one more time! Those sweet children are literally so precious!! This weekend we were also able to go to our district conference that was in Brașov and that was also such a sweet experience! Both the adult session Saturday night and the Sunday session were sooo good! The spirit was so strong! We talked about love, forgiveness, sacrifice, and service! On Sunday we were able to join the youth and young adults in singing "There is Peace in Christ" during the conference! There is a young adult named Danny who is very musically talented and he played the violin for the song and, ahhhh it was so beautiful! I was fighting back tears the whole time we were singing but at the end as we were walking back to our seats, I saw Sora Rucker in complete tears and I just lost it! The spirit and unity that comes from inviting the Holy Ghost to a meeting through song is so special! And to be able to do that all in Romanian was even more special!

I was able to see so many members from past areas while we were at the conference and it warmed my heart so much! But also completely broke my heart to leave them all! The people here in Romania are so strong and their testimonies are so inspiring! They have truly helped me become the person I am today!

The most important thing I have learned this past year and a half was understanding the true charity and character of Christ! Seeing EVERYONE through His eyes has been such a life changing experience! I know that Heavenly Father loves every single one of His children here on earth and He has a plan for each and every single one! We all have different strengths, weaknesses, and quirks but I know without a doubt that as we take a step back, humble ourselves, repent of any miss judgements, and then move forward with love, charity, service, and faith we are able to grow stronger together in furthering the work of the Lord here on earth! And by doing that we are also able to experience a joy like no other! The joy that comes from selflessly serving others is incomparable!

Thank you again for all your love and support! I can't wait to talk to you more once I get home! I am beyond blessed and to Heavenly Father I am forever grateful! 💜

Take care and see you all soon!😊
