The Work is Moving Forward!!

Hello my sweet family and friends! :)

Another crazy week full of success, laughs, yummy food and so many amazing spirit-filled experiences! I love my mission so much! I am just soaking up as much of it as I can at this point because soon it will be over and that is just something that I am not wanting to think about right now! haha!

Like I said last week, this week started off with country wide conference! On Sunday we had a new district president called for the whole country of Romania so Monday morning he spoke to us all about members and missionaries working together to help the work here in Romania move forward and it was so good! It honestly makes me so happy hearing about the future work, plans, and preparations for the church here in Romania! I love this country so much and it just fills my heart full of joy knowing that it is in good hands right now and that it will continue to be in good hands when I leave! The members and missionaries here in Romania are just such amazing disciples of Christ and I just can't say enough how grateful I am for all that I have learned here because of the great examples of everyone here!

One of the things that our District President Stoica said to us that was such a good reminder was, "we have to put in the hard work, and then what we absolutely cannot do, He will do!" I love that, we just need to work, learn, and do as much as we can, always striving to learn and become more, and then when we get to the point where we can't do any more, where it seems like what we are pushing for is impossible, Christ will come in and fill in the rest! I know that there is a great plan for the Church here in Romania, and the most we can do right now is our best each and every day! One of my favorite quotes is from a conference talk by Elder Klebingat that says, "No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; it will march on triumphantly with or without you or me, so "choose you this day whom ye will serve."" The work will go on here! I am so grateful for the last 16 months that I have been able to help the work here move forward and I am so glad I get to continue to be part of that work moving forward!

Between President Stoica's remarks, President Rucker's, our AP's and SML's teachings, and our Zone breakout discussions I just received so many impressions of what I can do moving forward to do better in my missionary work and be a better missionary, companion, member, friend, daughter, sister and so on :) I am so grateful for all the studies and prayers that went into planning that conference! Monday for lunch we had burritos so full that we could not even close them!! They were so yummy and filling and made me very happy! I also got to sit, talk, and laugh with Sora Gunderson and Sora Robinson at lunch and that was so happy! I love them both so much! They have truly impacted my life for the better! Ahhhh I am just so blessed!

On Friday of this week, I had an exchange with Sora Ballard which was also so much fun! We got so much done and had an amazing member lesson. A member from Brasov, where Sora Ballard is serving, joined in on a lesson with one of our friends! I had the idea to have this member join with this friend last week so it worked out perfectly that we were on an exchange to have the lesson! But oh man, it was so good and the member afterwards called us and just thanked us so much for thinking of her and then took it upon herself to get together a bunch of church materials and a Book of Mormon to mail to our friend! And she has also been messaging back and forth with our friend, Mary, a ton! So awesome! That made my heart happy!

So many more things happened this week but long story short, the work here is moving forward and at the end of each day I have sooooo many things to be thankful for! I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I am so grateful for His Atonement and for the healing, cleansing, and comfort that we can access and receive because of our Savior's ultimate love and sacrifice! I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the single true church here on the earth today! I know that, without a doubt, through much prayer and continual study in the Book of Mormon!

Thank you for your prayers! I LOVE YOU!!  Have a great week!

It was so warm this week! Got up to the 60's
in January! (Crazy!! The weather here is usually
very similar to that back home in Washington)
