I love Iași!!

Friends and Family!!

I hope you are all doing well!! I love you all and you are in my prayers!

This week was so good! Throughout my mission I have been able to experience so many different kinds of missionary work! There is a lot of diversity in Romania with our area being so big but not having a ton of members here yet. In Cluj, my first area, we had a pretty solid friend pool and spent our days teaching gospel lessons, teaching English lessons, and doing member visits. When we had time we would do finding either online or in parks/in the streets! We stayed busy but it was not stressful at all, everything just kind of flowed. Then I moved to Bucharest, the capitol of Romania, in the middle of all the craziness with the war! So on top of lessons to teach, and members to visit (which there were even more than what I had in Cluj) we also were given many opportunities to serve. We did service at the train stations, service at the Romexpo sorting clothes for refugees, and we also helped feed the homeless from time to time. Life in Bucharest was what you would expect life in a big city to be like; busy, busy, busy!! We ended each day satisfied with what we had accomplished but knowing there was always so much more to do the next day! When I left Bucharest, I went to a smaller city so the business of the city was not there anymore but I was put into the leadership position of handling the media organization and training of the mission which was a whole different type of busy! No longer were we as busy running around the city from one event to another but rather we were busy on the computer making ads, helping our missionaries all over Romania use media effectively and attending meetings where we received trainings on how to better help the missionary work move forward in our respective missions! haha AND THEN, I got put back into the big city of Bucharest and kept the calling as Social Media Leader! Haha that added a whole new level of prioritizing to our work! It has been a busy wild ride but I have loved all the different experiences I have been given in all different forms of work I have been able to do!

Now that I am in Iași, things have slowed down and I have absolutely loved it!! This week we had several different opportunities to get outside and street find/talk to people in parks or just walking down the road about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the peace and clarity it has brought to our lives! I have loved being able to use the Romanian language more and have more in depth conversations with our members, friends, and with the people we pass by on the street!

One goal that Sora Núñez and I had this week was to always be prepared with a scripture to share when we left the house. One scripture we chose this week was 1 Nephi 10:18-19 which says, "For he is the same yesterday, today, and forever; and the way is prepared for all men from the foundation of the world, if it so be that they repent and come unto him. For he that diligently seeketh shall find; and the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto them, by the power of the Holy Ghost, as well in these times as in times of old, and as well in times of old as in times to come/ wherefore, the course of the Lord is one eternal round."

I love these verses! I have such a strong testimony that they are true! Our Heavenly Father is the same! He wants to talk to us as much as He wants us to talk to Him! Our Heavenly Father, who is the most powerful being in the universe, His main goal and His biggest desire is for each one of us to return to live with Him again! He wants us to be able to become like Him! That is so comforting to me! I know that as we diligently seek, even when times are rough or we feel like we are not getting the answer that we want, as we continue to have faith in Him, diligently seek, and keep the Holy Ghost as our guide, we will be able to have more clarity, peace, and joy in our lives!

We were able to share this with many people we met and I also shared it in our fast and testimony meeting! Lately, I have been so emotional, especially during church because of the sweet spirit I feel and the strong love I have for the members here! The faith of the members here is so strong! The branches are so small, here in Iași there are only 5ish members that come each week, and yet they still come each week! They inspire me! I love them with my whole heart 💗 I am overwhelmed with love and gratitude for the opportunity I have to be here in Iași again! Heavenly Father is so good! He knows me individually, and He has blessed me way more than I deserve!

Take care! Love you all!! Thank you for your prayers and support! Sper că aveți o săptămână minunată💕

Dinner at Sora Genovevas home! Her son has
special needs and it was his birthday the next
day so we also celebrated that! It was so much
fun 😍 made me sad when we left to think of
the little time I have left here in Romania

I found a pizzelle maker in my apartment!!
They were a little thicker than what I am used
to back home but it was still so much fun to
make them! We made a ton and delivered them
to inactive members! It was so fun to make them
and think of my Italian grandparents as I made
them and delivered them!

Luca is one of the best bakeries here!!
It's the best mid-day snack!

Ice cream and food with the other Elders on
their exchange! So blest with all the people I
get to work with! I love my mission family! 💜
