Happy Independence Day, Romania!
I love Christmas time!! All the lights are up in the city and while doing work online we get to listen to Christmas music, it's the best! Makes me happy!
This Thursday was Romania's independence day and we had a branch activity with traditional Romanian food; sausage, mici, slănină, onion, bread, and marble cake. We had lots of members and friends come! It was fun to see everyone come together and participate in their independence day together!
We also got to go back to the center being prepared for Ukrainian Refugees to live and we made more bunkbeds! I love doing serve there! It is definitely a highlight of my week! I am also so grateful for all the little ways Heavenly Father shows me throughout the week that He knows me individually and cares about my happiness! He really is in all the small details of my life, I have such a strong testimony of that!! As we were walking back from a member lesson we ran into President Iepure! It was so funny because he said hello and hi to us but I didn't hear him and then he said Sora Acton, I subconsciously hearing him thought, whoah, that person said something that sounded a lot like my name, I wonder what they actually said, and then he said my name again and I turned around and there he was! Hahaha so funny! It was fun talking to him and hearing about how his sweet family is doing! I miss the Iepure family and my time in Cluj all the time!! Crazy to think one year ago I was there! Time flies!!
This week was so full and busy per usual! I am so grateful to have so many things to do throughout each day! It gives me a lot to be thankful for!!💗
Hope you are all doing well and staying safe! Sending you all my prayers and love!
