Happy Thanksgiving!

 Hello hello!

I hope that everyone was able to have a great Thanksgiving! It was so fun on Thursday, the three senior couples here in Bucharest organized a Thanksgiving dinner for us all! I also made 4 pumpkin pies which was super fun! It was fun to all get together and to eat yummy food and enjoy each other's company!

A good portion of my week was filled with moving apartments, it was kinda sad to not be able to do as much missionary work as we are used to because we were having to do so much packing, cleaning, and moving but I am so glad that we got all settled into our new place and now can go into this week with our full focus on our area and the media work that needs to get done in our mission! I have felt like a chicken with its head cut off the last few days with all of the things I have had to try and remember and make sure are happening within the media and with moving apartments! haha

Saturday was a really fun day! We went to a member's house for a visit and when we got there they had just bought their Christmas pig that morning and were cutting it up. I don't know the exact tradition but I know that there is a tradition to kill a pig towards the beginning of December and then they use/save as much of the pig as they can to make steaks, sausage, skins (they like to eat the skins with garlic sauce) and so forth. We talked with their grandson for the majority of the our time there as they were cutting up the pig. It was fun to talk with them and they felt bad that they were busy the whole time we were there so they invited us to come back right after Christmas to eat some of the pork they had just prepared! So that is exciting!

Afterwards, we went to this cute tea house with our friends Oana and Sara! Oana was baptized in January and Sara wants to be baptized but her parents do not agree so she is just waiting till she gets older. It was fun to have a lesson with both of them as they both shared personal experiences and had great insights to share about the chapter that we read in Alma about faith! I learn so much from our members and friends and am so grateful for their examples!

It was a busy week but as I look back on it I have learned so much and am grateful for the growth that I have been able to receive!

I love you all so much and hope you have a great week!
