Whirlwind

 Hello!

This week was a whirlwind of emotion and change! I said goodbye to my family in Ploiesti, moved back to Bucharest and have had a lot of meetings, tasks, and responsibilities to do since I have been here! It has been so much fun to see so many old friends and members here that I definitely missed while I was away! Everyone was also so welcoming and kind to me coming back so that made my heart happy!

Since this was transfers week I had a ton of work to do on the computer today so I really did not want to be on a screen for very long! haha

I love you all! Thank you for all of your support, care, and love!

One of the main takeaways from my personal studies this week was actually in Elder Jonathan S. Schmitt's talk where he shared how one Sunday as he was listening to the sacrament prayers and it said, "to take upon ourselves the name of Jesus Christ", the Holy Ghost reminded him that Jesus has many names. And then the question came to his heart, "which of Jesus's names should I take upon myself this week?"

I loved this question so much and it is something that I really want to apply to my life this week! Especially while preparing to hear Elder Bednar speak this coming weekend! I can't wait to share all my thoughts with you all next week about what I learned and felt after listening to Elder Bednar for the whole weekend! (Saturday there is a missionary meeting from 10-1, youth and YSA meeting from 3-5, and then on Sunday for everyone from 10-12!) I am so excited!!

Love you all and hope you have a great week!

Sora Acton

Said goodbye to so many wonderful
members and friends!! I love Sora Latinu
so much! Her house was always a place of
comfort to me! From the tabernacle choir
music she would play in the background
to the essential oil defuser she always had
running! I loved it all and will miss her tons!!

Our friend Carmen, who we just met, came
for a quick lesson and to say goodbye in
between a dentist appointment and work!
The fact that her mouth was numb and in
discomfort yet she still came warmed my heart!

Oh how I will miss Alexandru!! 💗

Adrian also sacrifices so much to come to the church
and have lessons! I hope that we can get him on
baptismal date again soon and that I will be able to go
back to Ploiesti for his baptism! Keep him in your prayers!

Sora Robinson's parents paid for a special lunch
for us for our 1 year on the mission and we also
got to have it on our last day together!! I am really
going to miss her, her strong spirit, and just the
comfort of family I feel whenever I'm around her!!

Some of my bestest friends left the mission this week!
Their strong testimonies and spirits are already missed
so much from everyone here! I feel so honored to have
been able to learn and serve closely with each of them
in the past year!!

More goodbyes, my heart can barely take it! Mica
was so much fun to talk with, she has been friends
with the missionaries for years!

Me and my new companion, Sora Bundy, and some
pretty purple flowers! I love my purple flowers! 😊

reunited with Marilena 💜

My last night in Ploiesti, we went to Alexandra's
house and made cookies!!! They were so good!!
And it was so much fun spending time with her!
She has such a sweet spirit about her and I can't
wait to see what is in store for her future! I have
learned a lot from her sweet testimony!

We taught Diana English this week online
and her cute son, Patrick, was always a part
of the lessons in some way!! I will miss them
too soo much!! 💜
