Flying By!!

Weeks come and go so fast! What even is time!? Haha

I want to start off by saying how much I love my companion!! Sora Robinson is such an amazing friend and teacher! I learn so much from her every day! I can't believe that I have been blessed to have spent MTC with her and now we are companions again!! A few things that amaze me about Sora Robinson and that I love:

-she has the biggest heart and is so in tune with others' feelings! I have seen it as we have group activities with friends in lessons, in member visits, and even with how she treats and interacts with me! She amazes me with her patience, love, and care.

-she is very diligent in learning the language and in growing her knowledge and faith in the gospel! Our daily discussions about what we have studied and learned through personal studies are my favorite! I love hearing what she has to say from what she has learned as well as discuss other topics together!

-she is stinking hilarious!! I am always laughing with Sora Robinson!! She makes life fun and enjoyable! It is fun hearing more of the thoughts that go through her head throughout the day as we spend everyday together!

She really is one of my bestest friends and I am so thankful to Heavenly Father for placing her in my life! There are way too many coincidences to be coincidence that we started the mission at the same time and are now comps again!! I am so excited for the things I will continue to learn from her! She really has helped me and continues to help me be a better version of myself!

Every morning, Sora Robinson and I go to this park near our apartment for sport (Sport is how Romanians say exercise). This week has been so nice and cool in the mornings which I absolutely love! And also, we have been going regularly to this park long enough that we have made friends with other people who workout there every morning! I love it as I run loops around the park I get to say Bună Dimineața to my regular friends and their dogs! And I get lots of smiles and Bună Dimineața's back!! With some of them, they are actually the ones that will say "hi" first!😊 makes my day and brings me so much happiness!

We also got to spend a lot of time with our members this week, that also warms my heart! They are becoming more and more like family as we spend more time with them and I love it!! We laugh and eat food together and I love it! Haha those are two of my most favorite thing to do! Laugh and eat food! 😆

One other bit of exciting news that we got this week is that in October, Elder Bednar is coming to Romania and we get to hear from him!!! I am so excited 💗 I'm excited to be so close to an Apostle of the Lord and am also so excited for the people of Romania! One way that I have started to prepare for him to come (that our Mission President encouraged us to do) is study all the talks he has given in conference up until this point! I have loved re-listening to his words! He is such a smart humble, and righteous man. His first few talks I have listened to so far are soooo gooooodd! One that really stood out to me and that I encourage all to listen to (especially young men - including my sweet younger brothers, kids of family friends that I have babysat, youth in my ward and stake back home, and really just everyone! Haha) is his talk called "Becoming a Missionary" it is so good! One of my favorite things it says is, "The Apostle Paul taught that the Lord's teachings and teachers were given that we may all attain 'the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ' (Eph. 4 :13). This process requires far more than acquiring knowledge. It is not even enough for us to be convinced of the gospel; we must act and think so that we are converted by it. In contrast to the institutions of the world, which teach us to know something, the gospel of Jesus Christ challenges us to become something."

I have definitely felt the events and effects of my mission helping me truly become more in Christ! I am so grateful for all the experiences I have had here! The good and the tough! Thank you all for your love and support! It means a lot! Take care 💗 talk to you next week!
