We Are EVERYTHING to God!

 Hello Friends and Family,

If you don't already, I hope you know how much I love each and every one of you! I am grateful for you, I pray for you daily, and I thank Heavenly Father for the great blessing it is to have such a great support team with me as I am out here serving a mission!

I started out this week off on p-day with a trip to Sinaia where we went to the castle and then took a Gondola up to the top of the mountain to get a beautiful view of the valley! I was in Heaven! The air was so clean, the skies were blue with nice fluffy clouds in them, everything was so green and I was surrounded by great company! It was a great day and made me so so so happy!

On Wednesday this week we went to go visit a member who is getting older in age and can't really make it to church on a regular basis. This member has a son who seemed like he may be slightly autistic. While we were there they pulled out their pictures and showed us a bunch of pictures of them about 25 years ago, as a family, with past missionaries! It was so special to be able to learn more about them and their life! I felt such a love for them as we were there! As we were about to leave I remembered him telling us that his wife was in the back room but that she is pretty sick and cannot speak anymore but can still hear when others talk to her! It always makes me sad when people are in those positions and have to live with those physical ailments. I went back to her room to say hello before we left and felt the spirit so strongly! I know that she is so loved and that Heavenly Father is proud of her for her faithful service in the church here in Romania! I had to fight back tears as we left!! What a special family! Honestly, I am just so grateful for all the absolutely amazing people that I get to meet while I am here in Romania!

Wednesday night we got on a 4 hour train to Craiova where we had an exchange with our STL's! SO MUCH FUN!! I got to be with Sora Gundersen!! We fit so much into our one day together; full of laughter and the spirit! We went to a beautiful botanical grden to do street contacting and talked to so many people! there were a lot of families there and it was just a fun experience to share the Gospel with so many amazing people in such a beautiful place! We talked to an older man whose only son just passed away in March and I was able to bare my testimony of the plan of salvation and the Book of Mormon to him and couldn't help but start to cry as I did so! I felt such a love for him and really hope that he continues to meet with missionaries because I know that learning more about his purpose here on earth will bring so much more peace and clarity to his life! We also talked with two different moms who had a child with special needs and my heart just melted for those sweet children!! AHHH it was such a good start to our day!

Later in the week we also got to visit a  member from our branch who used to liven in Italy so that was fun to talk to her about that and her experience there! On the way back from her house we met three younger girls who were so excited to get a Book of Mormon and a man who asked us where he could go to come to our church service on Sundays!

Lately, we have been so busy traveling for different conferences and meetings, it is hard being away from our city so often but it is amazing the blessings that we have been receiving in finding new people as we do use the time we have in our city as effectively and efficiently as we can! tHe man that we met on Saturday on the street did come to church on Sunday and stayed for both hours! It was a great day!

It was such a great week! I love missionary work and am so grateful for all that I learn each week and the ways in which I have been able to grow! It amazes me! I have such a strong testimony of Heavenly Father's love, care, and awareness of each individual here on earth! He loves us all so much and His biggest desire, wish, and goal is for us to return back to Him stronger and wiser than we were when we left His presence. He has so much planned and in store for us!! If you get the chance this week, read Elder Ucthdorf's talk called "You Matter to Him" from October 2011 General Conference! IT IS SO GOOD! I highlighted almost his whole talk but one of my favorite parts at the beginning says, "And while we may look at the vast expanse of the universe and say, "What is man in comparison to the glory of creation? God Himself said we are the reason He created the universe! His work and glory-the purpose for this magnificent universe-is to save and exalt mankind. In other words, the vast expanse of eternity, the glories and mysteries of infinite space and time are all built for the benefit of ordinary mortals like you and me. Our Heavenly Father created the universe that we might reach our potential as His sons and daughters. This is a paradox of man: compared to God, man is nothing; yet we are everything to God."

If you get the chance to read this talk I would love to hear what you liked from it! It brought so much joy to my week this week and I hope it does the same for you!

Love you all! Take care :)
