Member Visits
Hello Friends and Family!!
Hope that you all were able to have a great week! We had transfers this week which consisted of our trio being broken down into just Sora Robinson and I! Because of this change the beginning of last week feels so long ago! We did get to visit lots of members this week which was a lot of fun! I love being able to communicate, listen, and connect more with the people here in Romania! I learn so much from them, from their examples, and their faith!
One member that we visited this week was so much fun! haha She always has so much fun energy! The first 20 minutes that we were there she talked about how lately she has been sweating so much she doesn't pee as often! haha After about 45 minutes of talking she goes into the kitchen for a little bit, comes back out and then says, "I hope you are not mad at me but I don't have anything for you to eat, only to drink." We replied with telling her that is fine, she does not have to feed us every time we come over, but then she comes out with three plates full of grapes, cozanac (a Romanian sweet bread), and these cream puff sandwich things! haha! Honestly, we had so much fun at her house and laughed so much as she shared stories with us about her past and about things she is passionate about.
The rest of my week was a bunch of Media work, helping the rest of the mission get settled in after transfers, meetings, deep cleaning my apartment, deep cleaning the church building and yummy foods!
Sunday was also such a great day! I love how rejuvenated I feel after church! The spirit is so strong with these sweet members who do so much because of the small numbers in these little branches here! One member had an American Flag pin and tie on at church and it made my day! Totally reminded me of something that my Papa would wear and it was just a little reminder of home!
I feel so lucky and grateful for the support system that I have as I am out here serving! Thank you all for your prayers! Love you!!
