Transfers

 Hello!!

Hope you all had a great week! This week was transfers week for me! Surprisingly, this was the first week in the past month that didn't just absolutely fly by. We had transfers this week so there was a lot of change and also Sora Pachev has not left yet cause she has a Visa appointment today in Bucharest so we have just been partying it up in our little apartment the last few days.

Even with all the change that happened this week we have still been able to have some bomb lessons and member visits! We had lunch at Sora Dumitra's house this week! She fed us ardei umpluți (stuffed peppers) and apple crisp!!! It was honestly so yummy! And I was super hungry so that made it even better! Sora Dumitra is the Relief Society President and she invited the Elders Quorum President over as well so after lunch we talked about certain members in our branch who we could help! We had a really great discussion and it was so cool to see the work that was done this week that resulted in one of those members we talked about coming back to church this Sunday with her husband, who is not a member! Honestly, it was really special to see 😊

On Wednesday, we were invited over to the Larsen's house for dinner. The Larsen's are an American family here for military assignment. We went with two other Elders and they fed us all yummy chicken casserole, green salad (with Olive Garden dressing), fruit salad, and rice crispy treats!!! It felt so much like home and I loved it!! 😊 They have 5 kids, so it was so much fun, we played outside, had a drawing contest, and had so much fun just eating dinner all together. I LOVE FAMILY MEAL TIMES!! It was great therapy for me and brought me a lot of happiness!

The rest of my week was great! I am excited for this next full week of the new transfer! It is going to be a great month! One thing I am doing this transfer is setting some specific goals and then making weekly plans to accomplish those goals! I read this talk called "Return and Receive" by Elder M. Russell Ballard about the importance of goals in our lives and it is SOOO good! I highly recommend it! If you do get a chance to read it I would love to hear your thoughts and impressions about it!

Take care and I will talk to you all next week :)

Love,

Sora Acton

I am so grateful for all the friends we have here!!

Pretty flowers :)

Yummy food!
Honestly one of the highlights
of my week! haha
