Transfers
Bună Prieteni și Familie!
Just another crazy week for me here in Romania! This last week was transfers week so it was even more busy than normal for me!
My week started off with a Bang on Tuesday during our lesson with Maria when we asked her to be baptized and she said yes! Her testimony, faith, and love for all those around her is so inspiring! I am so excited for her, we set her date for April 2nd so it is coming up soon! Please keep her and her family in your prayers as her family is not very supportive of her decision.
Wednesday night we took a sleeper train to Bucharest to bring Sora Wenstrom to her new area and pick up my new companion, Sora Duru! That sleeper train was one of the worst ones yet! All night it sounded like I was sleeping in a blacksmith shop with all the clinking and clanking! haha But I survived the night. We arrived at the train station in Bucharest at 8am and I was at that train station til 1:30pm when we finally had everyone together and could leave. Unfortunately, I was not smart and did not bring my coat and was freezing for 6.5 hours! haha (classic)
That night we had to take another sleeper train back to Cluj and that train was so much better! It did end up arriving to Cluj 2 hours later than it was supposed to but at least I got a little better sleep that night!
The last few days have been so crazy with English classes, Gospel lessons, and service opportunities but I have loved every second!
Also, my new companion is amazing!! I love her so stinking much! She is so funny and I am constantly laughing with her! This transfer is a short transfer which means we only have 5 weeks instead of 6 weeks together! I am going to be so sad if we only get 1 transfer together! But we will see what happens!
I love you all and am so grateful for all of your kind words and prayers for me, and for the people here! Take care, and talk to you all next week :)
